We join 164 other Expeditionary Learning schools nationwide committed to learning that is active, challenging, meaningful, public, and collaborative.
In our middle school, students take responsibility for their learning as members of small advisories called Crews.
Students from different grade levels help each other learn.
Throughout the day, students practice demonstrating the Habits of a Manara Explorer: gratitude, responsibility, perseverance, collaboration, and compassion.
As part of their expedition on insects, kindergarten students investigate the real world as entomologists.
Welcome To The Manara Family
Welcome parents! I am honored and humbled to take on the responsibility of leading this organization and, most importantly, to ensure that every student graduates from our public charter school equipped for the challenges of the 21st century and higher level learning institutions. Allow me to be the first one that welcomes you to our school where we utilize the expeditionary learning process that engages your student in actively learning with a focus on higher level cognitive skills. We warmly greet 500 students from Kindergarten through 8th grade every day. They enter the building eager and ready to learn with bright smiling faces, thanks to the support that they receive from their parents and teachers.
