We would like to inform you that your child is scheduled to take the STAAR state assessment on:
  • Tuesday, April 22nd: 3rd, 4th, 6th & 7th Grades--Math
  • Wednesday, April 23rd: 3rd, 4th, 6th & 7th Grades--Reading

It is imperative that all students will be present and on time for school the day of testing unless your child is severely ill and running a fever. Testing is timed and your child will have 4 hours to complete the test. In order to ensure a secure testing environment, the front office will not be able to release any child from the testing room once a testing session has begun.

We ask that you ensure your child will be present and in their homeroom no later than 8:00AM on the morning of STAAR testing. Students who are tardy to school on the morning of testing will not be permitted to enter the classroom once testing has begun and will have to make it up on Thursday.
