Please do NOT enter from Sublett Rd or exit onto Collins St, as this could cause an accident on campus. Please also remember to stay off cell phones and drive slowly around campus. Good Evening Manara STEM Families, We are excited to welcome some new staff members on our campus this week! Please help me welcome Ms. Daqrouq - Pre-K 3 Aide, Ms. Goodson - Kindergarten teacher joining Ms. Dormier, and Ms. Melia - Sped teacher joining our Sped team. I'm excited to add more great teachers to our team! If your child in grades 3-8 have not paid for their Chromebook deposit, please do so this week. We are super close to being the first campus to have all our scholars with their Chromebooks, which means we are close to earning 5 free dress down days for the entire campus! If you need help filling out the form on our website, please let me know. I am happy to help you complete the order form. Report cards were handed out on Friday, September 22 for scholars in 1st-8th grades. If you have any questions regarding your child's progression, please reach out to their teacher. Student-led conferences will be held November 6-10 after the 2nd 6 week period has completed, but if you are wanting to discuss grades and progression prior to that, let the teacher know. Good Evening Manara STEM Families, Thank you to all who attended our curriculum events this week! The teachers continue to work hard for your scholar and want to make sure and share with you all the great learning that is occuring during this school year! If you were unable to attend the event, your scholar's teacher will send home their syllabus/brochure from that event for you to view. The book fair was a huge success! A big thank you to our PTO for hosting it each day this week! Over $3,500 of books were sold during the book fair, in which we will be given Scholastic points to use to purchase classroom books and STEM items for our teachers & scholars. Thank you!! Good evening, Manara STEM families! Thank you to all the families who attended the curriculum events last night and tonight! If you were unable to attend, your child's teacher will send home the syllabus with them tomorrow. Two reminders: Dress Down Day tomorrow for $1.00 and the book fair's last day is tomorrow! Manara Academy is known for developing global citizenship and support of our neighbors and families near and far. When part of our community is impacted, we are all impacted. Manara Academy stands with our Moroccan Families and community during this time of tragedy and sadness.

Manara Students (grades 3-12) are excited to receive their Chromebooks! Students will have the ability to access tutoring support through Paper Tutoring, learn responsible digital citizenship, engage in self-driven learning and access educational platforms with their own devices.

Good Morning Manara STEM Families, This Monday scholars will get school photos taken by LifeTouch photography. It will be a FREE non-uniform dress down day for their photo. Please make sure your scholar is on time to school, as grade level photos will begin at the start of the school day. Please see in the newsletter a great competition that our STEM campus is having with the Irving Elementary & Manara Leadership Academy on a way that, if we win the competition, all scholars on our campus can earn 5 FREE dress down days! The Scholastic Book Fair is this week, Monday through Friday, as well as our Curriculum Events on Wednesday & Thursday. Please see within the newsletter all the information about the book fair and curriculum event times. This is the final week within our first six-week period!
